Cool Radio Streaming looks to insure the legacy of SMS founder and best friend of radio Jim Barcus.

CRS Looks to Continue SMS Services

On April 1, 2019, Cool Radio Streaming President Tom Dobrez announce the acquisition of Stream My Station a longtime fixture in the radio broadcast world.

"Jim Barcus created a small broadcaster friendly streaming service and our goal is only to enhance his legacy" -Tom Dobrez

Stream My Station was established as a means to allow small independent broadcasters to connect to listeners via modern communication channels whether via streaming over the air signal or on Alexa devices with minimum costs. "Jim Barcus created a small broadcaster friendly streaming service and our goal is only to enhance his legacy," said Tom Dobrez.

Affordable Yet High Quality

Live audio streaming presents a number of challenges to small broadcasters from set up fees, isolating computers with one job (streaming) and music license fees. Cool Radio Streaming seeks to lower the costs of streaming without sacrificing quality.

"Our growth strategy is the empowering of small broadcasters, whether FCC license holders or independent podcasters. We wish to grow their ability to reach listeners with the smallest investment possible that doesn't sacrifice quality," according to Dobrez.

"Once we get settled with our existing clientele and assure a smooth transition, we will seek ways to enhance our services to met demands of industry," said Dobrez. The company plans on offering seasonal packages to broadcasters who only wish to broadcast individual sport seasons and also get in the equipment business to lower initial investment necessary to get audio on the internet.
